As a result of Credit Union, core and vendor collaboration, CUFX develops and maintains integration specifications which:
- Simplify application to core integration
- Reduce time, cost and redundant system integration efforts
- Improve the member experience and help Credit Unions to innovate and adopt technologies more rapidly that enable it to better compete against larger financial industry players
The specifications include transaction sets, message formats, communication protocols and guidelines based on industry best practices.

Published Specifications (CUFX Version 2.0)
Version 2.0 includes all objects from Version 1.0 with changes and additions necessary to support new membership and new product integrations. The versions are cumulative.

Version 1 is the initial version of CUFX and contains the data objects necessary to implement an integration between a personal finance management (PFM) solution and one or more core systems such as you deposits, loans, and credit card providers.
